Fearless leader, dad and captain of our crew. A homebuilder by trade a sailor at heart. Starting at age 6 he was destined to be on, in and near the water. He has safely navigated us though all types of water and in every hemisphere. His passion for the wind and the waves is infectious and keeps us all going strong.

Lisa
1st mate, RN and mommy for life and eternal optimist. Her passion is her family and she will gladly follow them through any adventure they would like to take. Aside from school teacher, healer, negotiator, cook, maid... they keep her around because they couldn't find anything without her. |

Tristan
Age 9 when we started this journey now the only teenager at 13 on the boat. He loves to sail, surf, windsurf, run, climb and of course video games. With a brain for the sciences and endless creativity he is always thinking of new ways to improve our world. He can't wait see what else the world holds for him.

Matthew
Age 6 when we departed and into the double digits now at 10 years old. A passion for reading and cooking, he helps to keep us well read and fed. He comes alive in the water and is first to jump in where ever we go from Alaska to New Zealand. Always moving to the music, he loves to make people laugh and play video games with his brother. He is our good will embassador and our daily dose of energy and enthusiasm. With confidence in spades, the world is his oyster.

You have met the Martins. We are a family of four with a home town in Port Orchard, Washington, but are ready to try life on the water for awhile. The number one goal is to slow down and enjoy all those little moments that seem to have a knack of sneaking by you, the daily conversations and revelations that make us who we are. We hope we can provide you with some entertainment and maybe learn a life lesson or two with us. We'll just take the hard knock part for you. |
